Clan MacInnes: A Wolfe Among Men is the third installment written by Aila Skye.  Elise has selected the man she wishes to spend her life with but then life intervenes.  Caught between two men and her duty, Elise must marry the man that the Stone of Destiny selects.  That man must be descended from past kings … where does that leave Calum?  The Wild and gorgeous Pictish Chieftain temps Elise as no other.  Will she follow her heart, her wild and passionate desires or will she bow to the Stone of Destiny and fulfill her responsibility to her people? 

Aila Skye, the author, portrays the struggles of Elise with clarity and insight into hidden desires.  Although there is action in this book, it is more focused on the internal struggle one might face when dealing with matters of the heart and impetuousness of desire.  

The narrator, John McNee, once again gives a stunning performance.  He has a style of narration that allows the listener to see the characters more accurately.  His rhythm is smooth and steady, his pronunciation is clear, and his performance is masterful and polished.

Again, this is a very short book, but it is powerfully packed with emotional and heart felt desires and decisions.  The listener is drawn into the book and ponders whether they would make the same decisions as Elise.  The third installment is a natural flow to the series.
