Together they must solve the mystery of the woman on the beach and the murder of Laird Kirkbride.  In a long string of innocent deceptions, Mr. and Mrs. J. Pickett check into the local inn together yet separately. This is just the start of fun plot twists and innocent accidents that further entangle their confusing relationship.

Sheri Cobb South, the author, is a masterful storyteller who effectively combines mystery, humor, and a little romance. The dialog was realistic, and the plot flowed smoothly.  Rich in detail, one cannot help but become drawn into the book.

The narrator, Joel Froomkin is very talented.  He dons the personality of John Pickett seamlessly.  He assigns a unique voice for each character which is reflective of their personality.  I find his accent delightful and while at times his pronunciation of certain words (i.e. grimace) is perfect for the book and character. 

Together the author and narrator make a good entertaining team. I love this series and cannot wait for the next book in the series.

There were no issues with the quality or production of this audiobook, it was well done.
