Delightful and Deadly!

The ongoing romance between John Pickett and Lady Fieldhurst continues to grow awkward and complicated as they are once again faced with a deadly mystery!

Sheri Cobb South, the author, creatively blends mystery and romance into this captivating series! The consistent growth between the two protagonists is fascinating to observe. The dialogue is rich and keeps the flow of the narrative moving solidly forward.  The plot twists are intricate and keep the listener guessing until the end.  The vivid descriptions immerse the listener in the story, from the grand ballrooms to the dark alleys.

The narrator, Joel Froomkin, delivers a strong and consistent performance. Froomkin captures and portrays the essence of each character vividly. His voice is robust and clear, using pitch and intonation beautifully. I cannot imagine any other voice actor in this series!

This is a captivating tale/series that appeals to fans of historical mysteries and romances.   I highly recommend this book and this series!
